We’re introducing another brand new post: #Shoesday! Every Tuesday we will feature what we, like so many women, are most passionate about… shoes. From shoe stalking on the streets of NYC, to shoe news, we’ll be sure to give you your weekly footwear fix.
First partay of the week, and a freaking job well done. Just walking through the entrance at Dolce Vita, we knew it was going to be epic. The monster-sized showroom on Houston was packed to the brim, and people were actually dancing (a rare site.) Loved the tunes, loved the booze, and loved the company. Kudos on the keg as well. (Maybe we should start a drinking blog? …No.) Wish we made it to the photo booth! (Yes, Abigail IS wearing chef pants… like from a restaurant.)
Okay, there was one thing missing from our NYFW round-up last month… Shoe Stalker! Dun dun dunnnnnn. Like Carrie Bradshaw, we too are obsessed with the highest and most extravagant of shoes. So, we set out to find the best of the best. Whether it was strutting down the runway, or sitting front row, we snapped it! What is your favorite pair?
Have you ever wondered why no one has invented heels that snap off, and onto another pair of shoes? Wonder no more, because the beautiful babes of One Clique have it mastered! We attended the launch party with our fav social media maven, Natalie Zfat, and dined on our fav dessert, cupcakes!
Our shoe funk will soon be over, and our closet will soon be filled with trillions of tops and billions of bottoms that we can mix and match to create the ULTIMATE SHOE COLLECTION. Okay, we’re getting very Pinky and the Brain right now… and yes, we know, neither of us are actually Brain.
It was when we were packing for Florida, just before NYFW, that we realized we only had two kinds of shoes: black combat boots, and closed-toe booties. Obviously black is our favorite color, but it’s time for Springtime, and we need to address this shoe issue… “isshoe”?
Browsing Target’s shoe dept. online was the easiest way to get excited for warmer weather. They are right on trend with metal-capped toes, pastels, snakeskin, and color-blocking. Especially swooning after the Prabal Gurung x Target shoes. We personally can’t wait for a nice white tee, skinny blue jeans, and a basic pointed pump like the ones featured above.
You can expect to see us in some of these shoes this Spring! Which one is your fav?

Geometric shapes, leather bodices, caged hats, and flirty feminine furs were all the rage at Bibhu Mohapatra. So psyched to see so many gorgeous gowns come down the catwalk. We can already picture Bibhu all over the red carpets next awards season!
Of course, we have to mention as footwear fanatics, the unreal United Nude heels! Completely obsessed. We also have to mention one of our all time favorite things about fashion week… seeing Bill Cunningham front row snappin’ away. :)
Feminine and flirty was definitely the vibe from the Nina Skarra F/W 2013 collection. Who doesn’t love a line that is purely white, black, and red?! We were absolutely infatuated with the crimson lips against the simple palette of the pieces.
…and those shoes?? It’s like wearing a corset on your feet, so sexy.
