Metallics were a strong trend this season for both menswear and womenswear, and Katya Leonovich’s collection was filled with those lust-worthy shiny pieces we were looking for. This collection speaks for itself, as it’s way more over the top than most other collections that we’ve posted thus far. So, take it in, and enjoy!
All that glitters is gold at Son Jung Wan this season from the shoes all the way to gold encrusted lips. Mega metallics were a theme in both the womenswear and menswear. Gold lapels for dudes… yes. We’re really feeling this trend and could use an item or 20 from the collection.
Where do we even begin on the fur?! It took all of our power not to reach out and touch the cobalt and burgundy goodness as it came down the runway. One of our favorite collections from this NYFW thus far! What do you think?
Great cuts, gorgeous slits, and we’ll do anything for a sweater that just can’t make it on your shoulders… the ultimate slouch factor! We love that we’re seeing so much metallic this season, Costello Tagliapietra didn’t disappoint with his metallic trousers. Such a fun, colorful collection!
Must-have metallics from Tocca this season. We plan on recreating that meshy black sweater with a metallic slip dress look, as soon as we can possibly get our hands on these runway diggs.
2. Metallica. We’re on the hunt for golden pumps, bold trench coats, glittering tops, silver handbags, and mirrored manicures.
3. We’re loving this winter hue, called midnight blue. Needing a navy manicure, blue shadow, cool blue coats, luxe loafers, and possibly even locks to match.
4. Oxblood, burgundy, maroon, what have you… this color is hot for the cold. Lusting after velvets, huge handbags, all red everything, fierce pumps, and a seasonal manicure.
5. Ever-in-style, animal print. Rock it right with a vintage hat, long jacket, matching, rock and roll inspired, fierce accessories, or just be Kate Moss.. always a good option.
So psyched we discovered Nettie Kents jagged jewels. We kept piling more and more of these rings on as we snapped shots. Needless to say, we’re obsessed. Even better, they matched perfectly with OPI’s “Warm & Fozzie” nail lacquer. Thank God they came out with a Muppets collection… it’s about time
Metallic nails, metallic hardware… we’re ready 2012.
