Leather Landscape

Emily – Top, Urban Outfitters. Skirt, ASOS. Slides, Aldo. Sunnies, Madewell. Necklace, Necromance

I’m so happy I decided to wear all this leather today, it’s not like the Summer heat is back…… misery. Although, i’m going to look back on this post in February and hate myself for complaining about the warm weather.

I just got these new croc leather slides while I was up in Maine for the weekend at the Aldo outlet store, amongst a few other things I cannot wait to share with you all. My obsession with black croc will never die (friends and family take note when thinking of any and all presents for me!)

If you didn’t notice our @WanderLustGirls stickers came in so I headed straight to the roof to vandalize!! I feel 10% cooler than I did when I woke up. I’ll leave you with this today, after taking a bunch of photos on the roof of this look we realized there was no card in the camera. Good.

Us: “We’re Wardrobe Stylists.”

Us: “Nothing.”
The world: “Oh…”

Tired of confusing the world, so the time has finally come – WanderLust is designing a handbag line! Ladies and gents, you are viewing the first official photos of Ballista Designs. This is a preview of our first three handbags: one cross-body, one travel, one clutch. Edgy, subtle, or tame, we’ll satisfy your handbag hopes and dreams.  ;)

Sachin + Babi

Sachin + Babi doesn’t mess around. If you want vibrant, they’ll give you vibrant. If you want leather fringe, they’ll give you leather fringe. If you want a tassel-y masterpiece, well.. you get the point. This collection was full of statement pieces that we would die to wear (hello metal fish scale skirt.) We’re looking forward to covering ourselves in some S+B this Fall.

Ohne Titel

This is our first time seeing the Ohne Titel collection, and we were in awe of how wearable and comfortable it all was, while still being completely badass. This is what we call color palette success… black, white, burgundy, and blue. Oh, and let’s not ignore those metal-esque thigh-highs. Holy moly. Fell very in love with a lot of these pieces. Especially that half leather sweater. Dope.

Pyer Moss

Nailed it. Black, white, oxblood, and a whole lot of leather! Our favorite things combined in one sexy mens collection. This was our first season seeing any Pyer Moss pieces, and we’re so psyched Milk Studios turned us on to such a badass designer.

The combination of shapes and fabrics within the pieces was sick… and how adorable were all the boys in their glasses?! Which is your favorite look, or male model?  ;)

Jonathan Simkhai

Where do we even begin with Jonathan Simkhai? We’ve been fans of Jonathan since we met him after he presented his second collection. Each year the collection gets better and better, and Jonathan gets hotter and hotter… what a babe!

The cuts this season were phenomenal. We loved the variety in leathers, especially the black cut out croc dress look! (It’s very possible we could die without it.) Already looking forward to his next collection.

Still questioning if we were dreaming this collection actually exists or not, because it was absolutely unreal. BEYOND obsessed with Skingraft’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Tight leather jackets, bone covered looks, laser cuts, oversized hoods, sheers, and our favorite monochromatic looks!! The pop of yellow was the perfect addition to the collection to give it that Summery look. We plan on wearing every single piece, including the menswear, everyday for infinity.

Jonathan Simkhai

HI COLORED LEATHER!!! I mean come on… those red shorts? Brilliant. Here’s a little formula to make things more clear; vampires to blood are like WanderLust Girls to leather. Jonathan Simkhai always lures us in with his womenswear that has a masculine edge. We always feel like we’re going through our boyfriends closets when we wear his pieces.

We love how we’ve gotten to see Jonathan’s collection grow, and look forward to where it will take us for seasons to come!
