Baby, let’s cruise.

We set sail from the Skyport Marina on Cloud Nine… doesn’t that seem like a big fat lie?! But in fact, those were the actual names of the marina and the boat. The heavens decided to give us the hottest day in August, so we were more than ready to cruise around the city with some delicious Malibu Spiced Rum cocktails.

We’d actually never tried the Spiced Rum before, but now we totally approve. Tastes unreal with ginger ale! You can count on Malibu to concoct the best summery cocktails, and they never forget the umbrella ;)
If you’ve never boated around Manhattan, we highly suggest it. We always forget about the lovely Lady Lib, the view of three cities, the islands, and best of all… the freeing breeze. Can’t wait to plan our next excursion before Summer fades away.
“Spiced Rum’s Finally Seen the Light. Malibu Island Spiced combines Malibu’s signature blend of Caribbean rum and coconut liqueur with light spices, smoked vanilla, cinnamon and a touch of sweetness with Truvia®, zero-calorie sweetener. The result is a lo-cal, big-flavored spiced rum alternative. Find out more at″

Denver Adventures

(On Abigail)- Dress, Miilla. Boots, Jeffrey Campbell. Belt, Topshop.
(On Emily)- Dress, Katie Gallagher. Boots, Sixty Seven. Hat, Aldo.

After touching down in Denver we decided to venture out and explore the terrain. So, in conclusion we found, what we hope were, abandoned rail road tracks, an antique Porsche, giant ponies, ATVs, Blue our new Husky friend, Big Gulps (huh?) and what we’ll assume are the doors from one of our favorite films, Monsters Inc.

All in all a fun filled day of Denver adventures! Stay tuned for what else we stumble upon :)

1884 Collection’s Roman Goddess Style-Off!

(Photos by Abigail Breslin)
(Jewelry, 1884 Collection. Dress, Foley + Corinna. Gladiator sandals, Jeffrey Campbell. Lipstick, Make Up Forever.)

When you think Roman Goddess, you probably picture white robes, gold leafy headpieces, and gladiator sandals. Well… we have the sandals, of course, but we would like to think that even back in Roman times we would be rocking our signature WanderLust attire, all black. So here you have it… WanderLust in Italy, 1884.

Things we’d also like to think about: How many more swords would we have? What our giant black horses would be named? What our closet would look like filled with a bunch of robes?

Help us win the 1884 Collection Roman Goddess Style-Off! Share our look onto your blog, share on Facebook, or on Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram! For participating, I will make your own wish come true! Submit a wish on 1884 Collection’s website, and they will toss a coin into Rome’s legendary Trevi Fountain along with your wish!! Hearst Shoot

Photos by Jamie DeMarcoHair: Nicole Obert. Make-Up: Jessie Butterfield. Model: Sinara @ Muse

Walking through the hallways of the Hearst building is like walking down a catwalk, so when asked to style this shoot, we dressed in our finest East Village gear :) Man, that place is a maze. Once we found the kitchen, we awkwardly stood there until onlookers exited, because the coffee machine looked really complicated. Last thing we need is an Editor to walk in while the room is dripping in pumpkin spice.
Such a fun day, and team to work with! The model rocked the hell out of everything we pulled. Oh, 6 foot tall Brazilian girls… Which look is your fav?

Trailer Park Queens

(Photos by Katya Moorman for Style Defined NYC)
Outfit numero dos for our feature on Style Defined NYC! Subconsciously we went with a trailer park style, and lo and behold we found a sweet whip on our street. After Fashion Week, we’re thinking about renting one for a road trip. (Photo ops galore.) Speaking of Fashion Week… who’s excited?! WanderLust will be covering 40 shows. Be sure to check our blog daily for amazing shots from the runway.

slouch city

If you know us, you know our obsession with slouchy tops. We met designer from Brit NYC, and we’re addicted to her slinky materials. The accents are perfect for festivals! Word on the street is her collection for next season is gonna be darker, so we can’t wait! Also spent most of our time holding Abigail’s hat down… can’t complain about the breeze with a view like that though :)
