When I looked at the calendar and saw that Abigail and I would be running mindless errands all day I reached for the slouchiest outfit I could find. I like to call this look my fashionable non-pajama pajamas! They’re so light and airy, at times, I don’t even think fabric was touching my skin.
As I looked through the photos taken of me yesterday evening I realized that I was posing in front of some badass graffiti that Abigail (purposefully) cut off so that it would say “FU.” Such a sweet, innocent girls she is.
Speaking of, Abigail couldn’t resist the Brandy tee either, so she dawned the white version on our day of errands. Her simple look was perfect for colorful accessories and a colorful backdrop. What do you all think of our new peep toe booties?
Possibly the first white sandals in the WanderLust wardrobe. Gladiators from GoJane, and sandals from Jeffrey Campbell. Tootsies properly painted for the holiday in red (Red Hot Rio) and blue (Keeping Suzi at Bay) by OPI.
As we were walking from event, to event, to cocktails, to event we got stopped by street style photographer, Trussardi Gordon from Sneaker Head Famous. He snapped Abigail in her infamous “Big Deal” tee and Emily in a big deal of a hat. What are you wearing that’s a big f*ckin’ deal?
If you have some fashionable freedom at your job there are ways to take on trends! We swear by Nicole Miller’s matchy-matchy looks. Abigail went with a fun floral print keeping accessories black and chic. Emily stuck to black and white stripes in a crop top and pencil skirt with some all white accessories (our latest obsession!) What’s your morning meeting look?
Swans? Green?? What is happening?! It’s highly possible we were not mentally stable by day five, regardless, we went for it. Switching it up, you know, freak people out by not wearing the usual garb. Bold move WanderLust, bold move.
We needed to get fierce for day four… and I think we can all agree, the cat ears did the trick! We were so excited to get dressed by Nicole Miller for her show! Although, it was nearly impossible to pick which Nicole Miller pieces to wear, we even went through her archived collection… que drool. Her show along with all of day four’s designers were impressive and lust-worthy.
By day three we were torn. Too excited about Fall, and still soaking up the last bits of Summer. As a compromise, Emily went Fall inspired, and Abigail went Spring styled.
Didn’t we warn you there would be more color?? Even all white accessories for Abigail. Emily stuck to her roots with a full on AllSaints look. But, that is a sequined skirt, and a LIGHT gray sweater… so that’s a big step.
Regardless, day three kicked our asses, but we kept truckin’. More outfits to come
