(On Abigail – Fur, Aqua. On Emily – Fur, Vintage.)
What we think roof mobsters would do (apparently): Chain smoke on the rooftop, wear giant fur jackets and no clothes under them, which you can’t really tell in these photos, but it’s necessary to know, and finally wear badass hats and dark red lipstick. Of course, this is all while looking out on the city they mob in?
I think we’re a little confused by this whole concept… but for the sake of saving face, we LOOK like we COULD be mobsters… of our own roof. Just go with it.

This day of NYFW we rocked two of our favorite statement jackets. Abigail’s feather-frenzy piece was a lucky find at a Thrift Shop (insert Macklemore lyric here), and Emily’s embellished military-inspired jacket is from Alice and Olivia. Speaking of Macklemore, we got the opportunity to work with him this weekend. Stay tuned for that blogpost!
A star-studded crowd lined the shiny black runway at Nicole Miller… proof that a blizzard won’t keep anyone from a Fashion Show! Although many of the looks were black, Miller stuck with her rainbow-bright model, which we love. Start stock-piling some beanies and fedoras, ladies, because they are hot for AW13.
Found better photos of our Feuillatte outfits! Actually.. it’s kind of crazy how they look like two totally different outfits because of the coats. Been sipping a lot of Feuillatte lately. Not mad about it.
There’s one showroom we would NEVER deny an invite to, and that is jewelry designer Gabriele Frantzen’s! A lovely pre-holiday soirée spent sipping champagne and enjoying great company, including Fern Mallis, creator of New York Fashion Week. Pieces to die over are, well everything, but especially those chain wrapped crosses… so WanderLust.
There’s nothing that we like more than a man killin’ it in pieces straight off the runway… and of course, a sleeve tattoo (that part is necessary.) We thought our new friend, and health/wellness consultant, Joshua Kane Tankersley was the perfect Duckie man. Dapper and edgy, with a whole lotta cool comfort. We’re obsessed with their relaxed mens trousers, and matchy-matchy looks.
Joshua is a man of many worlds, so he easily transformed into each style. A WanderLust man’s must-haves: hoods, lime green trousers, and a full on velvet suit!
