Tid bits from today = polka-dots, and chambray. It may still be 80 degrees, but we’re pushing for long sleeve weather. Emily went for vintage and shredded denim, while I stuck to a more modern clean-cut vibe. Found these rockin’ equestrian style boots at the bottom of Emily’s closet… the gems we can unearth in there.
Day two on location in Rhode Island, and we are super psyched about how the shoot is turning out! However, we could use a nap or 15, after a 3:45am wake up call this morning. We started off poolside with lots of fun flotation devices and lounging looks.
Before we headed to the bonfire for our final shots we jumped into some Cult we had been craving and headed for this tree lined walkway to capture these looks. Abigail was channeling Tupac, in the most lust-worthy boyfriend jean we have seen in all our 26 years.
My jumper got me one step closer to my childhood dream job, gas station attendant (in a super girly, but “gets” muscle cars kind of way.) Needless to say we had a blast getting our denim on all week! Now to pack up and ship out back to New York tomorrow. See you all back in the big apple.
Is a 4am wakeup call the pits? Yes. But is sunrise on the beach with a dope crew worth it? Yes. Emily and I are in Rhode Island Monday-Wednesday styling for Cult of Individuality S/S ’15. In between the tribal paint and flares, I made sure to snap a pic of Emily’s tush in her new One Teaspoon shorts. Also quite into my new soft as ever Urban Outfitters plaid vest… stay tuned for how we style it.
Based off these behind the scenes campaign shots, and the general awesome vibe of the trip, I’m really looking forward to sharing the final product with you all! More sneak peeks to follow.
Lace ears? Great. Lace ears on beanies? I mean… how cute would a bunny look with a beanie on? Okay, it’s different. On another note – white leather and denim Acne jacket, will you marry me? There has been way too many questions so far. That ostrich is funny. Statement. Thanks for having us Opening Ceremony and AMEX! Pretty comprehensive recap, wouldn’t ya say?
Three words come to mind when we re-live the Rock & Republic Kohl’s show: raw sexy men. We could not keep our eyes off Mr. No Shirt… also known as the love interest from Rihanna’s “We Found Love” music video. Look at the glare. Anywayssss… the Rock & Republic line was fierce, and we were lusting the styling! We are going to need the shoulder cut-out hoodie.
