These two cowgirls (sans boots and hats) needed to soak in as much Nashville as possible. How can you do that in such a short amount of time, you ask? We suggest starting at any bar, and then go to the next one, and the next one… and, you’re getting that we were a little tipsy right?
Our favorite find, was no where near downtown, in fact our Lyft driver (a Nashville native) had never even heard of it. This gem is called Santa’s. A double-wide trailer, located in the middle of nowhere, completely covered in Christmas decorations, with an owner who looks exactly like Kris Kringle himself!
We drank Smirnoff ice, sang some karaoke, and got lots of congratulatory comments on our new marriages… we’re not married, to be clear. (That one’s a long story, not boring, but we won’t “bore” you with it.)
August is a grueling month… okay that’s not true it’s mainly beaching and Summer romance, BUT keeping a sexy bod and confident mindset can keep you in a tizzy. The key to feeling good for us is staying healthy.
Fitness ain’t exactly our forte, but what makes it fun is dressing the part. A workout won’t feel as successful if you throw on an ugly tee-shirt and baggy shorts. We search for sexy badass basics like the pieces above that send a message to onlookers. When you feel good, the workout seems a lot easier. If you’re really weird like us, you’ll buy black water, because that’s just awesome.
After some running and squats, we want to refuel. Pictured above is our favorite smoothie, the Flat Belly Smoothie, filled with pineapple, kale, and blueberry. It’s simple, it’s unbelievably delicious, and it’s ready to fight off fat.

The mission of our trip was to go somewhere we’ve never been, and find a rope swing. It was Emily’s big idea… and I blame The Notebook. After a ridiculous feat of swimming against the current, climbing through spiderwebs and slipping on mudslides, Emily stood quivering with the rope and claiming her stomach hurt. After a few Noah Calhoun quotes (“GET IN THE WATER! I’m sorry, get in the water, woman! Get in the water! No I’m sorry baby, please just get in. GET IN THE WATER!“), Emily let go of her inhibitions, and… slipped and smashed into the water. Aah finally, it was ALL worth it.

It’s not, not fun spending all day getting your hair and make-up done surrounded by puppies. Truly an honor supporting such a great cause as North Shore Animal League. We’re happy to say we raised a lot of money, and many homes were found for the dogs and cats that evening!
We did, however, spend the majority of our down time testing out the Smartender. If you want your mind blown head to our Instagram to check out the video of the machine in action. We’re still amazed.
WanderLust isn’t all about wardrobe, we’re also about setting the scene. With a blend of Feng Shui, moderate-to-high OCD, and the constant urge to “set the mood”, we’ll take on any prop styling project. Photos above are behind the scenes of a Winter baby clothing campaign.
