Day 2 NYFW outfits

(On Abigail – Dress, Foley + Corinna. Vest, Adrienne Landau. Belt, French Connection. Turban, BEXnyc. Shoes, Ritch Erani.)

(On Emily – Jumper, Reformation. Hat, Aldo. Ring, OK1984.)

We were so out of our minds by day two that Emily wore gold accessories, and Abigail even started wearing patterns!! (Be prepared for even more as well!) A WanderLust Girl in florals, who would have thought?
It was such a fun fashion packed day running around the tents at Lincoln Center! It was the perfect day to test out our new Reformation jumper with all it’s wide leg, cut-out glory! Even though it was still technically Summer we were so happy to have our Adrienne Landau fur to cuddle up in as we awaited the shows in the ice cold AC filled tents. We’re not in the desert NYFW… air.. control.. people.
What a convenient ring right?

Day 1 NYFW outfits

(On Emily – Dress, Reformation. Sunglasses, Bottega Veneta. Shoes, Sam Edelman. Bag, Zac Posen.)
(On Abigail – Dress, Foley + Corinna. Shoes, Aldo. Bag, Ballista.)

How quickly NYFW came and left :( Now that we’ve posted all our show coverage, here are our outfits from each day!

We wandered The High Line as we took a mini break in between shows. Emily’s Reformation obsession, as you will continue to see, begins on day one. Abigail’s Foley + Corinna dress was the perfect combination of girly and goth… could not NOT be further from our style. (Double negatives are the best!) Lightweight sheer looks for day one! Stay tuned, more outfits to come!

P.S. Keep an eye out for more Ballista bags… we hear they’re gonna be huge ;)

Mark + Estel After party

(Photos by Alex Geana)

After the Mark + Estel show at Lincoln Center we dashed over to 1Oak for their after party, which we were psyched to co-host! Fashionable friends, Beck’s beers and bubbly… the perfect recipe for a great night, which it was! Always love mixing and mingling with New York’s finest and two of our newest fav designers :) That skeleton outfit, unreal.

Nail Game

Happy Fall! In honor of the season, we shed our Summer colors (aka grey), and attempt some funky nail art. Thank you OMG Nail Strips for creating this Beetlejuicey striped design. We aren’t great at doing our own nails, probably the worst actually, so luckily these stickers are simple to put on. We know you’re all more adventurous than we are… so check out the other 50 designs here ;)

Hale Bob

We closed out Fashion Week with some California dreaming at the Hale Bob SS14 presentation. Sure we don’t wear much color, but next vacation we book we will definitely be rocking some of this zebra and flamingo print. Amazing.

Hale Bob’s collection is fun, flirty, and best of all flowy. We were so happy they made their way to New York Fashion Week thanks to Lifestyle Trimco. Shout out to the beautiful costume designer, Ami Goodheart, in the limoncello locks :)

Runway jams

  • Tidal Wave, Sub Focus ft. Alpine at The Art Institute of America
  • Stompa, Serena Ryder at Pamella Roland
Those of you who see us runway side at NYFW know that we basically watch the entire show from behind some sort of a screen. We’re always takin’ pics, Instagramming, Facebooking, Tweeting, Tumbling, Blogging, or Shazaaming. We’re always hyped to hear what songs will be played, because the music can really make the show.

Plus, we’re always looking for jams for our “make-shift” runway at home. Yeah, we’re those people… Anyways, hope you all enjoy these just as much as we did!

Reem Acra

Glitz and glamour at Reem Acra this season, with a bit of a dark twist, which we love. It goes without saying that we would crumble over black tulle, so we are… still! Who else is psyched about this metallic madness?! This collection was like watching Cinderella get decked out by her evil step sisters for the first time. ;)

Curious when your favorite item is going on sale? Hukkster takes care of it for you. We were so intrigued by the non-tradish presentation outside of Lincoln Center, that we had to stay and watch.
Models filed out in front of the fountain, accompanied by two of the most hyped up men we’ve ever seen. The men ordered models to strike poses, while Patricia Field and assistants cut up the garments, revealing sale prices. Def a site to check out, especially if you’re a coupon code hunter.
