We don’t like bugs, or capture the flag, or log cabins… which is why we decided to teach at fashion camp!! Why didn’t they have this when we were younger? Thinking back to what we wore at their age, we could have desperately used a fashion camp (i.e. zebra pants and way too many spaghetti straps.) The 90′s were amazing.

One Clique

Have you ever wondered why no one has invented heels that snap off, and onto another pair of shoes? Wonder no more, because the beautiful babes of One Clique have it mastered! We attended the launch party with our fav social media maven, Natalie Zfat, and dined on our fav dessert, cupcakes!

Our shoe funk will soon be over, and our closet will soon be filled with trillions of tops and billions of bottoms that we can mix and match to create the ULTIMATE SHOE COLLECTION. Okay, we’re getting very Pinky and the Brain right now… and yes, we know, neither of us are actually Brain.

…and yes, Emily ate way more than one cupcake.

Easy Breezy

As if it wasn’t hot enough, this Miami Fashion Week Swim has us dreading we didn’t book our flights! Bikini’s and beauty… what’s not to love?! We got our hands on some of the Cover Girl “Flamed Out” collection and wanted to recreate some of our favorite runway looks! Although our paleness seems to stay consistent throughout any season, we love a simple bronzed glow, with heavy mascara. But of course, the vampires in us tried their red shadow pencil to add a bit of deviance.

Fire up the volume with a beauty routine that will sure to get you noticed! COVERGIRL’s NEW Flamed Out™ Collection features eye products that are designed to give you the latest red hot looks!

ONE WEEK from today we will be Co-Hosting the Free The Girls! “Bras on Top!” party with Katya, of Style Defined. When Katya told us about the organization, and her idea for a party, we immediately jumped on board. It’s like this:
“By partnering with safe houses and after-care facilities, we provide an opportunity for women rescued from sex trafficking to earn a living selling second-hand clothing while going to school, getting healthy, and caring for their families.  Selling clothes allows them to work as much or as little as their school schedule permits.  The women in our program receive their starting inventory as a donation, and are then able to buy additional inventory from Free The Girls for below wholesale value to help maintain their competitive edge in the marketplace.  Revenue from inventory sales helps subsidize overseas program costs.”FTG
On Tuesday, July 23rd, from 11pm ’til late, “Bras on Top!” will be held with Susanne Bartsch’s Top of the Standard, along with Michael Fragoso. (848 Washington Street.)
During the party you can enter yourself to win a seriously stacked giftbag from designer bexNYC, including a bra, panties, giftcard, and bottle of champagne! Also, if you can’t make the late night affair, please see the above flyer for INA‘s bra donation collection.

“It’s not supposed to be easy, that’s why it feel so fucking good.”-Awolnation

Regardless of the rain or possible approaching tornado (we can’t be too sure…) Awolnation gets everyone hyped! Between the synchronized head-banging, Aaron’s interpretive dance moves (and Kurt Cobain-like good looks,) or the adorable Kenny Carkeet, we just can’t get enough. Hence our second show in one month. Is it obvious we have crushes on two… non-specific… members of the band?? We digress. Everyone get a little AWOL this week ;)

Missguided Guide

(Images from Missguided)

Warning: once you get on the Missguided website, you may not leave. We loved the pieces we received (seen here), but we did scroll around for, well, a few hours. Naturally, we were drawn to the black, white, and metal. Yes, metal is a part of our color palette.
We absolutely love the monochromatic pieces with crucial cut-outs, and essspecially the leather-harnessed maxi dress. Their accessories section is out of this world, so prepare yourself. Focus, and fill that shopping cart with affordable looks!
“Missguided is a fresh women’s e-tailer that aims to be at the forefront of the latest fashion, stay ahead of competitors and on top of the hottest trends in order to provide customers with the best that the fashion world has to offer.”

Just Soles

(On Abigail)- Top, Brandy Melville. Pants, Guess. Heels, Christian Louboutin
(On Emily)- Dress, Big Drop. Heels, Brian Atwood, Belt, Aldo
First ones on the dance floor, first ones to the cupcakes, last ones to the cupcakes. Baked by Melissa curse you for being so delicious! Desserts aside, we weren’t mad about having to wear gorgeous Louboutin and Brian Atwood heels all night. It was such a fun evening at the Just Soles event at Ludlow Studios
After mixing and mingling, sipping champagne, and busting out some pretty rad moves, we joined in with fellow bloggers for a mini runway show of a few of the gorgeous heels that Just Soles rents out! … and no one fell, we were convinced we were digger bound! Lucky for guests, the whole event went swimmingly :) Let the renting begin!
