slouch city

If you know us, you know our obsession with slouchy tops. We met designer from Brit NYC, and we’re addicted to her slinky materials. The accents are perfect for festivals! Word on the street is her collection for next season is gonna be darker, so we can’t wait! Also spent most of our time holding Abigail’s hat down… can’t complain about the breeze with a view like that though :)

Seasick Mama

(Photos by Hassan Kinley for Karin + Raoul Magazine)
More WanderLust styling work for Karin + Raoul Magazine! Meet our girl, Seasick Mama, an emerging NYC singer/songwriter. A beautiful sunny Summer day, and some newly sea-foamed hair made for a rockin’ photoshoot. Loved styling her in some sexy D&E lingerie, leather, and even the grand ol’ flag. Nothing says happy Labor Day like a woman’s bodacious backside, right? Right.

Nicole Miller Dinner

Sipping on margarita’s (or in Emily’s case just vodka,) and enjoying delicious Mexican food at Los Feliz in the LES with Nicole Miller, and a hot blogger posse… not a bad evening! We even got decked out in her Fall 2012 Artelier Collection, which we can assure is quite lust worthy.
It was so great to get to know not only Nicole, which was such a pleasure, but all the other bloggers like, Kim of eat.sleep.wear., Keiko Lynn, Danielle of We Wore What, and Christine of NYC Pretty! Can’t wait to see all these faces again at NYFW :)

Cut & Color

(Photos by Jamie DeMarco)
When incredible hair stylist, Nicole Obert DeMarco, asked us to escape the city and style a few looks to match her masterful cut and color we had to say yes! Obsessed with the hidden berry shades, under this angular short look. With that being said, we had to deck our wonderful model in our favorite Alexander McQueen bottoms, Chromat’s lust-worthy structures, and some killer Tamzin Lillywhite body armor! Do you think you could rock this look?

Like a G6

As we walked into W.I.P. we were instantly obsessed with all the absurd art work (aka tin foil gorillas…which should end up in our apartment ASAP.) It was the perfect place to style major musician, Dev, for Karin + Raoul Magazine
After her edgy dancing in the dark video we instantly called up Logan Neitzel for his killer creations. Dev, you’re a fox, can’t wait to work with you again :)

Unveiling the empire two dancers returned to the famous cabaret. The champagne has run out, the smoke has cleared, but their costumes remained in their boudoir. Backstage they reminisce about what once was, and even though the ticket sales ceased, and the roars of the crowd simmered the atmosphere in the Moulin Rouge is immortal.

Karin + Raoul Magazine

Another great honor we received this Summer was a feature in Karin + Raoul Magazine. For those who haven’t read it yet, it’s a super sexy magazine full of the top creatives in the city. After styling for them a couple times, we gladly accepted an interview and a few photos, and were speechless with the kind write-up.
As for designer credits, let’s just say: Chains by Home Depot, Knife from Crate & Barrel…. normal.

We were so happy to be featured in Nintendo Gamer magazine!! That’s the last gaming system we knew how to play, so homage was due. Wonder what all the gamers will think of latex ;)

Linda Derector

Well… if you don’t know Linda Derector, you are missing out. Not only does she have the most EPIC collection of vintage designer sunglasses that you have ever laid your eyes on, she is also the perfect dose of positive energy. I mean, if we had this many sunnies at hand, we’d be all smiles too ;) We will simply give up on life if we don’t own the blue ones! So, which are your favs?
