We had an amazing time perusing Sotheby’s plethora of nude art work, at the The New York Academy of Arts 20th Annual Take Home a Nude Benefit. It was the perfect opportunity to whip out one of Philomena Kwok’s lustworthy hats, and our newly named Morticia dresses (considering everyone asked us if it was Halloween on our walk home.) I guess our fancy benefit attire, aka long black dresses, are a little bit too much for even some New Yorkers to handle.
We want to thank Company Agenda for having us! We love that when the word “nude” comes into play… we always get an invite
We had so much fun sipping on cocktails, tasting delicious hors d’oeuvres, taking way too many pictures in front of the green screen, mixing and mingling with the band, and apparently on the taxi ride home (a few too many cocktails perhaps?)
The other afternoon we popped by the SOTU showroom, and ours jaws dropped instantly. CEO, Ami Goodheart, is an incredibly talented costume designer and producer, and the photos speak for themselves. Known for her avant-garde vision, and over the top amazing pieces, Goodheart’s impressive career has brought her exactly where she wants to be. We won’t give it all away, because this won’t be last raving you hear from us about SOTU!
Her designs can be spotted on stage at sold out concerts, gracing editorials in top magazines, and obviously dancing around at any event regarded as “The Party of the Year.” If you happen to be in NYC on Sunday, October 23rd, swing by Pop Souk at the Hiro Ballroom from 12-6pm.
What’s your favorite piece from the photos?? :)
