Street Chic

(Photo by Guerre for Marie Claire)
Wandering up to Lincoln Center we got snapped by Guerre for Marie Claire! It’s always so fun when the photographers place you exactly where they want you… this time being in the middle of oncoming traffic.
Before hustling into a show we bumped into our friend and incredible designer Jonathan Simkhai (whose black pumps Abigail happened to be wearing.) Probably the one day we had on shorts and pants rather than a dress! (WanderLust rarities.)

Feel it in our bones

Shots of us waiting for the Cushnie et Ochs show to begin at our fav, Milk Studios. After seeing The Addams Family on broadway (highly recommended), we feel Emily’s ensemble could’ve been a part of the play! What can we say… when October approaches we so easily flock to a spookier sartorial outlook.

WanderLust in White

(Images from Guest of a Guest)

Winding down our Fashion Week had to conclude with good friends and a sexy soirée. We co-hosted a white party with The King Collective at Bar Basque. We know… breaking the rules wearing white after Labor Day, but after a whirlwind Fashion Week, everybody is down to bend the rules a little.

Staring out the massive windows, we noticed ourselves being played on an enormous screen on another building! It was the launch video for our newest WanderLust collaboration, and we cannot wait to officially share it with all of our readers!

Glam Dinner

(Photos by Will Ragozzino)
During the end of Fashion Week we were wined and dined by the amazing people of Glam Media. Editors and bloggers met up for a soirée at Fred’s in Barneys, and then enjoyed a delicious dinner. We had such a great time getting to know everyone, and shared some fashionable stories and laughs with our table; Micah Jesse of, Bianca Jade of Mizzfit, and Andy of Style Scrapbook. Thanks again to Glam for such a fabulous evening!

Blogger Break Room

(Photos by Christopher Hall)
In between the dash from show to show, we popped by the Fashion Indie blogger breakroom. After last Fashion Week’s breakroom indulgence, we knew we couldn’t miss it this time either! We had an amazing time mix and mingling with friends and bloggers, and sipping on cocktails as we charged up our devices for a night at the tents.

Especially thrilled about being introduced to Philomena Kwok Millinery, designer of gorgeous extravagant head pieces. Abigail rocked the oversized bow to Lincoln Center, and the camera flashes were endless!

Betsey Johnson

The Betsey Johnson runway show is always a party. The front row was stacked, and eager guests danced in their seats to Nicki Minaj (who happened to be in attendance as well!) We were honored to be a part of her watch campaign, and dressed for her show, and were anxious to see the fabulous collection Betsey created for S/S 2012.

We were immediately in lust with the whimsical whites and florals, and about died when the models donning skulls and bones stomped out. Absolutely must own those skull shorts, and skull bodysuit. The crowd gave a standing ovation as Betsey paraded down the runway with a finale of big balloons, and of course, the famous cartwheel and split. (Splits at 69? What can’t this woman do!?)
